If you look deep inside, on the edges, you will see
the world shine. And one of those figures shining with rain is Marcello Murru, who moves
along, solitary and sure, in these thirteen "little" stories. His deep voice
sings, or rather recites to us the feelings, emotions and expectations of an artist, head
held high, looking towards another place which has never been reached. Arbatax is a
passionate and transparent tale, which dances along to the sound of ancient tales,
revealing feelings of melancholy, joy and desire, which it would otherwise be impossible
to express.
Murru himself says of his album: "The words have a great power, they are the key with
which we try to open our inner rooms, but leading someone inside my songs is difficult
because I constantly change direction; in my songs you can definitely sense my penchant
for the night, with its dramas and its often alcoholic ghosts; there are our injured
voices, there is the street, the sounds of the traffic, the screeching of the tram, the
sounding of the sirens, the rambling of the lost, the words of love and there is my voice
which narrates, so inseparable from my stories".
