Alibìa began
their career in 2004 with the release of "Confini", an album that was warmly
received by the Italian press, and following their notable success during the more
important Italian Festivals for new artists (Arezzo Wave, Rock Targato Italia, Sonica,
Tendenze, Feedback). In addition "Musica" di Repubblica (the best of the
national music magazines) labelled them as the best young band of 2003 and as the
most representative band of the Arezzo Wave Music Festival.
Alibìa are the authors of a refined Indye-pop genre, that combines piano, electric
guitars, electronic, synthetic and minimal sounds, with two different souls and voices
(male and female). The year 2006 is witness to the release of their second
album "Tra Tutto E Niente", produced by Giacomo Fiorenza (one of Italy's
top rock producers) from the Alpha Dept in Bologna. The album will be
released in Italy in the spring of 2006
